Laminate Floors and LVP

Laminate for floors is a great alternative and reliable flooring solution if you want to bring the wood look to your home without the hefty price tag. Laminate flooring offers long-term comfort and support for your home, comes in a variety of colors and grain finishes to choose from, and is an easy-to-maintain material if you have lots of foot traffic, children, pets, or just want minimal floor upkeep.

Laminate Floor Installation

Laminate flooring installation begins by preparing the space and having the materials ready to go. Because laminate flooring sits on top of the base, we don’t necessarily need to remove any sub-base flooring, such as older hardwood or concrete. Instead, the laminate can be placed on top and sealed in place (also making for easy removal later on if you change your mind). We’ll arrive on-site with all of the necessary tools to carry out the laminate flooring job in an instant. We will then proceed to lay out the laminate boards by aligning them side-by-side until the entire floor is covered. They’re then glued in place and nailed to the walls with the intersecting baseboards.

Benefits of Laminate

Laminate flooring is a great material for everyday use and ideal for those that want as little maintenance as possible when it comes to the general cleaning and upkeep of the floors. Because laminate is scratch-proof, heat-proof, and water-proof, it’s practical for spills, stains, and regular foot traffic. You can use laminate flooring in both your bedroom, kitchen, and living areas without worry. If you do manage to spill liquids, it can easily be cleaned using traditional mopping methods and cleaning solutions. Furthermore, no matter how much use you get out of your laminate floors, they won’t alter or change their shape, won’t crack or fade in color, and they’ll offer long-term support for your furniture, pets, children, and family as a whole.

Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) Installation

Luxury vinyl planks are composite hardwood floors that mimic the appearance of tiles or stone but are made from vinyl wood materials. They're a budget-friendly alternative to traditional hardwood floors and can save you a fortune, while delivering the same standard of durability and beauty. If you aren't eager to spend a lot on your floors but love the way hardwood looks, you might enjoy the benefits that luxury vinyl planks can offer instead.

Costs

As mentioned previously, the costs associated with both laminate flooring and luxury vinyl planks are much lower than standard hardwood. If you aren’t fussed about having the real thing, then laminate and LVP flooring are suitable solutions for your flooring needs. They also require fewer materials and labor as they can be installed rather quickly and don't require the same drying time as hardwood normally would. You can choose the color or grain finish of your laminate flooring or planks ahead of time, so no extra wood staining is needed along the way. That means that once your floors are installed, they're ready to go and safe to use.
